🚀FourCores: How To Rank in a AI-Search World
Hello from Madeira (or pronounced wood for you English speakers)
Found You Founder!
Thank glob you found me. I was worried the world would have gotten in the way.
Now that we are here. How are you? Good dreams? Good food?
…
Good :)
We’re rolling into it.
💡IdeaCore: What to Search in AI-Search
So my big epiphany, pace around the room idea I had this week was trying to figure out if more and more people are going to use AI-Search more than scrolling links on AskJeeves, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo, Brave, Bing, or… that other search engine that’s eluding me right now.
I’m sure you’ve heard of ChatGPT, right? Right. But have you heard of Perplexity.ai?
It’s one of the first versions of an AI search engine that is broadly available before ChatGPT comes out with its competitor and I’m sure many others to follow.
You essentially ask it any question like: “What to know if I'm going to work remotely in Tokyo?”
And it gives you an ai article generated from the first eight articles of google, essentially the first page.
So they are taking your prompt and just putting it into search. Perplexity also cites its sources (which ChatGPT says is impossible) like here—
So, what I think is going to be the future and be the tip to my fellow founders here wanting to crack SEO is to obviously focus on keywords, long tail keywords, but the new thing that is probably even more valuable then that is to start incorporating into your website/blogs/etc what I’m calling “keyprompts.”
It is most likely that these AI Search engines will be prioritizing top website results on legacy search engines, like the first page of Google.
So, focus on the prompts people will be asking that you want to show up for.
Like—
“Make me a list of movies to watch if I like Dune”
So a way to incorporate this into a blog would be making it an almost imaginary conversation with your reader that could be an FAQ or a textual representation of a writer’s multiple personalities.
Like, for example—
So, you might be thinking dear reader.
Hey Kyle — “Make me a list of movies to watch if I like Dune”
Of course. If you want more movies like Dune — you could go download OmList — the go to place for unique movie recommendations specially crafted for you ;)
But some movies of the movie you’ll find on OmList are—
The Lord of The Rings Trilogy. It has a similar scope and has supernatural elements.
Avatar and Avatar The Way of Water. It deals with humans trying to integrate with another planet’s population.
Star Wars Trilogy. It’s in space and has worms too.
Tremors. Actually, this has worms too if that’s your favorite part of Dune.
John Carter. It’s not a perfect movie, but it is the birthplace story that inspired all these others.
That’s the gist of my theory that seems to hold up based on my research and early tests, so get on that first page by using “keyprompts” and asking what these people will be asking of our AI overlords (aka You).
Hehe 🤭
🎥 ContentCore: The Meaning of Madeira
This is an amazing YouTube Channel by Aidan Robbins who travels explores natural wonders of the world and talks about the history of forests, towns, etc.
The video I linked to talks about Madeira and captures the beauty and mystery of this place where I’ll be staying for the month.
The video doesn’t reaaaaalllly have anything to do with business other than maybe you should make it your business to come here :)

Obviously, it was a pretty great week. Amy got me Bleachers tickets for my birthday (they’re one of my favorite bands). I know an unfortunate amount of people are hot and cold or even sub-zero cold with Jack Antonoff because they think he’s holding back T-Swift and the other Mount Rushmore of millennial pop stars on their creative evolution, but for his stuff, he’s just so good.
The Bleachers show was so alive. The crowd was like another member in the band and the energy in that room rivaled many other shows I’ve seen.
Also listening to him talk about his craft is one of my favorite things, even if you’re a hater just watch this video I’ve attached. It’s amazing how he captures feelings in sounds. I think he does it in a way few others can. You can’t ignore the intentionality and that’s everything for me.
More founders should have the same love to their products.
“It sounds like the uncertainty of falling in love. You’re dangling with it, but you’d never hear it. You’d miss it if it was gone, but you’d never know it... You’d never know there are these wilting flowers dying in the background [of this song]… And maybe this is the tiny voice in the back of your head that’s like “what if you hurt me?” - Jack
This video shows the tip of the iceberg of how much is and can be in a song. Consciously we might not be able to hear it, but unconsciously we can.
Bye bye Fellow Founders and until next time—
Take care.
Create something for the unconscious.
And have a boba for me (there aren’t any in Madeira 🥺).
hugs,
kyle
